Early Settlers of Matamoros: Jose Santiago Longoria and Ana Maria Hinojosa

An early settling family of Matamoros is that of Jose Santiago Longoria and Ana Maria Hinojosa. Here you will find their children and who they married.

Jose Santiago Hinojosa is listed, in documents dating 1784, among the thirteen settlers of the area that later on became Matamoros.

Jose Santiago is the son of Joseph Longoria and Maria de Chapa. His wife was Ana Maria Hinojosa, I have yet to find out who her father is but her mother is Francisca Lopez

To date, I have only found nine children for them
