Early Settlers of Reynosa: Juan Guzman and Maria Flores

One of the early settling families of Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico is that of Juan Guzman and Maria Flores. In the 1757 census of Mier they are listed as follows; "Juan Guzman, casado con Maria Flores, tiene cinco hijos, todas armas y seis caballos".

Here is the English translation "Juan Guzman, married to Maria Flores, has five children, all weapons, and six horses".

The 1750 Census of Reynosa mentions the names of six of their children and you can see them below.
