An early family of Cerralvo is that of Jose Gabriel Selvera Salinas and Maria Gregoria Tadea Reyes. Here you will find their children and who they married.

The marriage records for Cerralvo are missing prior to 1756 and thus I think that trying to recreate family groups that lived before and or immediately after this date is very important.

Jose Gabriel Selvera Salinas and Maria Gregoria Reyes needed a marriage dispensation due to Maria Gregoria being related to Gabriel's first wife Margarita Vela.

Their marriage investigation is dated January 17, 1729. Unfortunately, the record does not mention the names of the parents of Jose Gabriel.

The parents of Maria Gregoria Tadea are Juan de Reyes de Barbosa and Maria Gertrudis Vela.  Only the father of his first wife is mentioned and it is Bauptista Vela.
