Early Families of Agualeguas: Jose Agapito Fernandez and Maria Isabel Chapa

Jose Agapito Fernandez and Maria Isabel Chapa had one of the first church marriages that were recorded in Agualeguas, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Jose Agapito was the son of Jose Lazaro Fernandez and Maria Juana Villarreal. He married Maria Isabel Chapa on the 21st of September 1821. She was the daughter of Jose Antonio Chapa and Maria del Refugio Salinas.

By the 7th of January 1835 Maria Isabel had already died since ont hat day Jose Agapito married again to Maria Faustina Resendez and Maria Vivivana de la Garza.

To date, I have only been able to find six children for Jose Agapito and Maria Isabel.
