Early Settlers of Monterrey: Gregorio Fernandez Tijerina and Beatriz Gonzalez Hidalgo

An early settling family in Monterrey is that of Gregorio Fernandez Tijerina and Beatriz Gonzalez Hidalgo. They lived in the Monterrey area from the early 1600s to the 1690s.

I have yet to find out who the parents of Gregorio Fernandez de Tijerina are.

The parents of Beatriz Gonzalez Hidalgo are Blas de la Garza and Beatriz Gonzalez Hidalgo.

Gregorio is also considered the progenitor of the Tijerina surname and you can get this book about his descendants: "Tijerina: Last Names of Nuevo Leon".

Through my research, I have only found eleven children for them.
