    Many of our ancestors were related and intermarried between the same families, thus needing a marriage dispensation in order to be able to get married by the church. These marriage dispensations provide a great wealth of information. Come listen to Mario Davila who will talk about Researching the Marriage Dispensations of the Diocese of Guadalajara and show us on how to locate these records and listen to his own experience using them. The presentation will be November 6 at 2:00 PM at the Speer Memorial Library located at 801 E. 12th St. in Mission Texas. There is no cost to attend and it is open to the public. Here is our program:
