Early Settlers of San Antonio: Juan Jose Curbelo and Gracia Perdomo Umpierrez

Juan Jose Curbelo and Gracia Perdomo Umpierrez are among the ten families that came from the Canary Islands in 1730. They settled in what is now San Antonio, Texas.

Juan was born in 1676 in Lanzarote, Canary Islands, and his parents were Antonio _____ and Maria Perez. Antonio's surname could not be located but it is probably Curbelo just like his son.

Gracia was born in about 1685 in Lanzarote, Canary Islands, and her parents were Marcos _____ and Maria Cabrera. Marcos's surname could not be located but it is probably Perdomo Umpierrez just like his daughter.

To date, I have only been able to locate five children for them.
