One of the early settling families of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico is that of Marcos Gonzalez Hidalgo and Mariana Navarro. They lived during the late 1500s to the middle of the 1600s.
Marcos Gonzalez Hidalgo is the son of Juan Gonzalez and Maria Lombera
The parents of Mariana Navarro are Juan Navarro and Maria Rodriguez de Sosa.
I also included the children that he had with Maria Gutierrez de Olea.

My 4th great grandmother was Ma Francisca de Jesús Leal married to Cayetano de la Garza Leal de León, they both descended from Marcos Gonzalez Hidalgo. Felix Garza Leal and Maria Ramona Leal González, son Antonio Garza Leal married to Filomena Garza Silva , my Great Grandmother Domitila Garza Garza was my grandfather’s mom 😍 I love seen my ancestors on the community tree!
Here a descendant of Beatriz Gonzalez Hidalgo. It is incredible how the people of the Northeast are related after more than 400 years.
