An early settling family of Monterrey is that of Gonzalo Fernandez de Castro and Maria Rodriguez. Here you will find their children and who they married.

The parents of Gonzalo are Juan Fernandez de Castro and Mayor de Renteria. To date, I have yet to discover who the parents of Maira Rodriguez are.

Gonzalo as born in about 1598 in Llera, Nueva Galicia (Zacatecas).
