Early Settlers of Matamoros: Jose Hilario de Hinojosa and Maria Catarina Garcia

An early settling family of Matamoros is that of Jose Hilario de Hinojosa and Maria Catarina Garcia. Here you will find their children and who they married.

Jose Hilario de Hinojosa is listed, in documents dating 1784, among the thirteen settlers of the area that later on became Matamoros.

Jose Hilario is the son of Juan Crisostomo Hinojosa and Margarita Gonzalez Ochoa. His wife was Maria Catarina Garcia for whom I still need to find her parents.

To date, I have only found six children for them
