Early Settlers of Cerralvo: Miguel Antonio Esteban Barrera and Maria Antonia Ignacia Guerra

An early family of Cerralvo is that of Miguel Antonio Esteban Barrera and Maria Antonia Ignacia Guerra. Here you will find their children and who they married.

Thanks to the work of Don Guillermo Garmendia Leal we know that the parents of Miguel Antonio Esteban are Blas Barrera and Maira Guadalupe Gomez. Thanks to him we also know that the parents of Maria Antonia Ignacia are Antonio Guerra and Antonia de la Garza Treviño.

They married in Cerralvo on or about May 30, 1751. I have yet to find any baptism records for their children since the Cerrlavo records for the 1750's are missing.

The lack of records for Cerrlavo during this period makes it very difficult to research this family.

To date, I have only found four children for them and they are all, married in Cerralvo.
