Early Settlers of Camargo: Jose Balentin Olivares and Maria de Jesus Guajardo

Jose Balentin Olivares and Maria de Jesus Guajardo

An early settling family of Camargo is that of Jose Balentin Olivares and Maria de Jesus Guajardo. Here you will find their children and who they married.

Jose Balentin Olivares and Maria de Jesus Guajardo are listed in the 1750 census of Camargo.

The parents of Jose Balentin are Juan de Olivares and Maria Rita Vela. The parents of Maria de Jesus Guajardo are Joseph Martinez Guajardo and Margarita Gutierrez. We know this due to a Marriage Investigation done on June 1, 1730, in Monterrey.

They have their roots in Monterrey but I believe that they settled in Cerralvo where their children were born since in the census they are listed as coming from Cerralvo to Camargo.

To date, I have only found six children for them.

Here are the names of their children and whom they married. For more descendants of theirs please visit our Genealogy Database for South Texas and Northeastern Mexico.
