The parents of Jose Mariano are Jose Antonio Emiliano Perez and Maria Rosa Gertrudis Hernandez. The parents of Maria Petra are Pedro Jose de la Garza and Maria de los Santos Alvarado.

Jose was a native of Salinas and Maria Petra was a native of Cerralvo.
