Gonzalo de Reyna and Catalina de la Garza

An early family of Monterrey from the 1600s is that of Gonzalo de Reyna and Catalina de la Garza. Here you will find their children and who they married.

To date, I have yet to find out who the parents of Gonzalo de Reyna are. Based on a dispensation we know that Gonzalo is the brother of Juana de Reyna.

Also, he is listed as a mulato in many records.

The parents of Catalina de la Garza also remain a mystery. We only know from marriage dispensations that she is the sister of Leonro Gumendio and Brigida Gumendio.

Catalinas is also listed as a mestiza in many records. She is also listed as Catalina Gumendio in some.

To date, I have only found five children for them.
