Francisco Martinez Guajardo and Ines Rodriguez Navarro

An early settling family of Saltillo from the 1600s is that of Francisco Martinez Guajardo and Ines Rodriguez Navarro. Here you will find their family group showing their children and who they married.

I have yet to discover who the parents of Francisco Martinez Guajardo are. The parents of his wife Ines Rodriguez Navarro are Juan Navarro and Maria Rodriguez de Sosa. Juana adopted the Treviño surname from her maternal grandfather, Diego de Treviño.

The major source of piecing this family together is the various marriage investigations conducted on their descendants.

To date, I have only been able to find six children for them.

His son Juan Martinez Guajardo is the focus of the book "Martinez: Last Names of Nuevo Leon".

Their daughter Isabel Martinez Guajardo is also the focus of the book "Benavides: Last Names of Nuevo Leon".

Here are the names of their children and whom they married. For more descendants and ancestors of theirs please visit our Las Villas del Norte Genealogy Database.
