Early Settlers of Reynosa: Nicolas Balli and Gertrudis Rodriguez

Nicolas Balli and Gertrudis Rodriguez

An early settling family of Reynosa is the family of Nicolas Balli and Gertrudis Rodriguez. They are mentioned in the Reynosa 1750 Census and have three children listed. I looked for them in the 1757 census but they were not listed.

Research conducted by Guillermo Garmendia Leal indicates that Nicolas and Gertrudis moved to Burgos, Tamaulipas.

The only place that I could find the names of the parents for Nicolas was in the Balli book by Rene Escobar. He mentions that his parents are Nicolas Balli and Josefa Manuela Guerra Cañamar.

Through my research, I have only been able to find three children for them.
