Early Settlers of Monterrey: Miguel de Montemayor and Monica Rodriguez

An early settling family of Monterrey is that of Miguel de Montemayor and Monica Rodriguez. They lived in the Monterrey area from the late 1590s to the 1650s.

The parents of Miguel de Montemayor are Alberto del Canto and Estefania de Montemayor. The parents of Monica Rodriguez are Diego Rodriguez and Sebastiana de Treviño Quintanilla.

Through my research, I have only found ten children for them and two illegitimate daughters for Miguel.
