Early Settlers of Laredo: Joseph Antonio Diaz and Maria Teresa Rodriguez

An early settling family of Laredo is that of Joseph Antonio Diaz and Maria Teresa Rodriguez. On June 22, 1767 Joseph received porcion 34 on the east bank of the river just next to the ejidos.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find out who their parents are. We do know that they were from the Valle de las Salinas area where they got married and had some of their children.

So far, I have only been able to find eight children for them.
