Early Families of Laredo: Jose Miguel Garcia and Catarina Jimenez

An early settling family of Laredo is that of Jose Miguel Garcia and Catarina Jimenez. On June 22, 1767 Jose Miguel received "porcion" 13 (5.314 acres) on the east bank of the river just above to the ejidos (present Texas).

The parents of Jose Miguel are Cristobal Garcia and Antonia de la Garza. I have yet to find the parents of Maria Catarina Jimenez.

So far, I have only been able to find six children for them.
