Early Settlers of Camargo: Thomas de Olivares and Maria Gertrudis Longoria

Thomas de Olivares and Maria Gertrudis Longoria

An early settling family from the 1700's of Camargo, is that of Thomas de Olivares and Maria Gertrudis Longoria. They baptized a daughter on the 13th of July 1767. In that same eyar he received Porcion #34 in the Camargo jurisdiction.

To date I have yet to locate the names of his parents. What is interesting is that he recieved his porcion next ot other Olivares but I have not been able to determine how they are related.

The parents of Maria Gertrudis are Juan Diego Longoria and Clara Maria de Chapa.

Up to today I have only been able to locate three children for them.
