An early settling family of Burgos is that of Bartolome Balli and Maria Rita Rodriguez. They married on the 21st of December 1761 at Nuestra Senora de Loreto, Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

The parents of Bartolome Balli are Nicolas Balli and Josefa Manuela Guerra Cañamar. The parents of Maria Rita Rodriguez are Vicente Rodriguez and Rosa (unknown surname).
