Hello Moises, Thanks for replying. I left out details to try and keep the story simple but there are way too many actual Flores connections that make this a bit complicated to unravel. Donaciano had Flores maternally and his immediate descendants married a whole Alanis Flores family, including my great grandmother. Their paperwork also has paperwork brick walls.

As for the hiding hypothesis. This is one of the top ones I have. One story did get passed down. It was a vague family origin story and a personal story of Donaciano. Learning how complex his story is has made me revisit those details. It sounds like a story you would tell if you did a restart.
