Upon doing some research, I found that your ancestor, Don José Doroteo Moreno, had previously married María Josefa Fuentes, on November 20th, 1826, at “Nuestra Señora Del Refugio, Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México.” She passed away and was buried in 1828 in “El Camposanto de Ciudad Jiménez (Ximénez), Tamaulipas, México. She was daughter of José María Fuentes and María Polonia Reyes.

Two years later, Don Moreno would marry Doña María Recio. If you have an Ancestry account, you may be able to view the following links.
