I hope this is the right forum for this question. I have worked almost exclusively on my maternal lines for the last 25 years or so. Luckily, with the help of LVDN, I have made major gains in these lines in the last few years. I am elated with the resources here and several of my maternal lines now stretch back a dozen generations and more.

I feel I need to now begin seriously digging for my paternal roots which are buried in and around Jalisco. Do you have any suggestions on books, or other resources that I can utilize for my research in that region similar to what is available in the northern states and south Texas?

I am not beginning this work from scratch as I have several lines that are 8 generations deep in the Jalisco region – but most are stuck in the 5 to 6 generation depth and have been stuck there for the last 10 years or more.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!
