I’m happy to see you’ve selected this book written by a schoolmate of mine at Pan American University (now a UT). Armando went on to get his doctorate and then teach at Texas A&M, but he is a Valley kid from Edinburg and has deep family ties to the old ranching community. I lost track of him, but maybe someone can find him. It would be fun to have him deliver a talk to the group.
