Sorry for the late response. Life gets in the way. Moises Garza sent me a booklet on the census of several early settlements when I first joined. Perhaps this doesn’t help but… I also have the difficulty of keeping everything as precise as possible. While I can’t help you with evidence on Rita, I have some ancestors with the de Jaen surname and the name jumps out at me whenever I am scanning documents/info. These were listed in the booklet entitled The 1757 Censuses of Laredo, Dolores, Revilla, Mier, Camargo and Reynosa, as living in the Villa de Camargo: Juan Jose Lopez de Jaen and wife, Isabel Maria Sanchez, also, Francisco Lopez de Jaen, wife Maria de Longoria. You may already have researched these names in said booklet. I have a Pedro Jose Lopez Jaen with wife, Maria Margarita Martinez, married 24 May, 1784. Don’t really know if they are related as I am very slow in my research. Good Luck.
