My brick wall is finding my grandfathers Jose Garcia Corpus baptism or any records from Mexico, his date of birth is March 19 1868, born in Saltillo per border pass and social security record. His mother name is Dionisia Garcia and father Guadalupe Corpus who were originally from San Luis Potosi and then settled in Piedras Negras. I have found border passes where he is traveling with his mother, brother Hilario and wife Alejandra Rosas on family search. I found them on the U.S. census in Eagle Pass, Texas. I found his death cerificate where he died in an MVA as my father reported in San Antonio, Texas. But the certificate states his mother is Dionisia Morin (not sure if that is an error). I am looking for some documentation for his birth in Mexico and validate the parents and I have not been able to find any on family search and looked under civil records. I requested records from the immigrant archives and its been four months and have not received anything. He had a social security card as well and worked here in the U. S. My main request is for help is to find some records in Mexico to validate his parents names. Is anyone familiar with this family and/or have any connections to Piedras Negras, Coahuilia, Mexico. Thank you
