Early Settlers of Laredo: Joseph Leonardo de Trevino and Ana Maria Moreno

One of the early families of  La Villa de Laredo is that of Joseph Leonardo de Trevino and Ana Maria Moreno. They are listed in the 1757 census of Revilla as follows: "Don Jose Leonardo Treviño, casado con Doña Ana Moreno, seis hijos, todas armas y doce caballos". In English: SirJose Leonardo Treviño, married with Mrs. Ana Moreno, six sons, all weapons and twelve horses.

The father of Joseph Leonardo de Trevino is Juan de Trevino and his mother is Geronima Martinez Guajardo. The parents of Ana Maria Moreno are Juan Antonio Moreno and Clara Galvan.

Joseph and Ana Maria were married October 31, 1734 in Montemorleos Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
