  Seeking the Father of Esteban Jose Rodrigues

  I am seeking to locate the name and information of my paternal fourth great grandfather who is the father of my paternal third great grandfather, Esteban Jose Rodrigues, who was born on 31 December 1788 in Yahualica, Jalisco, and baptized on 09 January 1789 at Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel in Yahualica, Jalisco (see attached).

  Esteban’s mother, my maternal fourth great grandmother, is Maria Jose Rodrigues. Records list her as “Maria Jose Rodrigs.” and Esteban as “Esteban Jose Rodrigs.” There is no father listed on the christening registry.

  My paternal haplogroup is I-FTA13797 a subclade of I-P109 whose origin is in Southern Scandanavia, mainly in Sweden.

  I have a myriad of paternal DNA matches with both Swedish and Spanish individuals from as early as the 1200’s.
