My 3rd great-grandmother Maria Barbara Moreno married John Henderson on 26 March 1856 in Cameron County, Texas. Maria Barbara’s parents are Doroteo Moreno and Maria Gregoria Recio married on 7 June 1830 in Matamoros. In the record of marriage Doroteo is noted as being 25-year-old; his parents are not listed. They are listed for his spouse Maria Gregoria age 18; her parents are Jose Mauricio Recio and Juana Maria Lopez.

Hello Ruben,
Upon doing some research, I found that your ancestor, Don José Doroteo Moreno, had previously married María Josefa Fuentes, on November 20th, 1826, at “Nuestra Señora Del Refugio, Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México.” She passed away and was buried in 1828 in “El Camposanto de Ciudad Jiménez (Ximénez), Tamaulipas, México. She was daughter of José María Fuentes and María Polonia Reyes.
Two years later, Don Moreno would marry Doña María Recio. If you have an Ancestry account, you may be able to view the following links. With regards to your Brick Wall, I found that José Doroteo Moreno’s parents are listed in the second link I provided, as being José María (J. MA or Jose MA.) Moreno and María Trinidad (MA. Trinidad) Balboa (Balvoa). I hope the information I provided is helpful.
